We all started as a blank sheet of paper.
We were all born in the form of an infant. We knew nothing about this world that we live in. We knew nothing about life. All we knew was to breathe, sleep, and feed. These were the only three things that we lived for at least in the first few weeks of our lives.
Some say that babies can see more clearly than any adult could and I do feel the same too. With a clear mind, anything is possible. All babies know are the basic needs of a human being. Slowly and surely, after a while babies learn from their parents. We learn compassion. We learn to smile. We learn to express ourselves as we thought be correct.
As we become toddlers, we learn play and communication. We learn new expressions. Soon enough, we discover that our minds can create many different ideas. We start to be creative and have dreams of becoming an inventor. All toddlers are great inventors.
Whenever new things are taught to a toddler, their imagination would run wild. Many things will come across their little brain and with their simple views, they will take immediate action in all their dreams. As a toddler, we probably have built castles with tiny Lego bricks because of the fairy tales that our parents read to us. Have we not?
We soon learn to read and observe even better. Reading creates wisdom to the blank voids in the brain. As toddlers start to go to school, they slowly become more avid readers. It is then important for parents to choose the suitable reading material for their children. Most parents would choose the best reading materials to the best of their knowledge and opinion. But what exactly is best for the child?
As children grow older, they will have their own judgements. They will make mistakes and learn. They will excel and learn. This learning process is continuous throughout our whole lives. Somehow, somewhere along the road to adulthood, a child’s imagination is sometimes frozen due to many reasons. Very few actually hold on to their dreams and strive to bring it to reality.
What is it that makes the minority win?
There is probably only one percent (1%) of the world’s population realizing their dreams and that makes them winners. This minority started as a blank page like all of us. The only eminence that differs them from the rest of us is their willpower to succeed.
Some people would tell me that successful people have genius minds. I would say that every single one of us is born a genius in our own way. It is most likely the way we were brought up, the people we encounter, and the strength of our minds that made the difference.
Just bear in mind that life is a constant transformation. Variation makes life interesting. We strive through different stages of life and thrive as we move on to the next level. Life is like a game play. There is always that ultimate goal that we want to reach but before we get there, we will surely face challenges. With every challenge we face, we learn something new. This shapes who we are.
There will of course be people who resist change. These are people who are in their comfort zone. There is no right or wrong in life. Different people will choose different paths. However, to my opinion, we should insist to be in the real comfort zone. What difference does it make?
Many people think their current lives of waking early and going to work to earn some money for necessity and stay happy as is will be good enough for them. But for me, comfort zone means to live a clear conscious life having space, love, and free of doubt. This means that I have the ability to help others help themselves to reach their goal in life. I hope to create more individuals like me to turn the world into a better place.
Everything starts blank.
Each individual has got to look themselves in the mirror and try and see what they can do better. Period. Point blank.
