Miracle

Miracle happens to the worthy.

Any event that occurs without logical explanation is described as a miracle. While we are not able to explain, it does not mean that there is no possible answer. Everything happens for a reason. It is just easier to think that it is a miracle rather than spending time understanding events in life.

In the early existence of tribes, there are people more highly respected than others. They are the elders, soothsayers, or shamans. What makes them so different? Even the village chief will have to consult them for advice before making any decisions, whether to start hunting or move village. They are just normal people with special abilities. They are able to communicate with the spirits of the unknown world to make life easier for the living.

Even after the formation of empires with great civilization, wizards and astronomies still play an important role. Conquerors will get advice of when is the right time to attack. Rulers will get advice of how certain decisions can be made to the best of their interest. The reputation of people with higher awareness is well respected and usually never challenged. Anyone who decides to believe otherwise will have first proof them wrong.

Some may argue that if these special beings are so powerful, why have certain civilization ceased to exist and some kingdoms fallen. If they are almighty, they should have already predicted the future and avoided it from happening.

We have to understand that the universe is fair, not biased. Every matter that exists will move towards the strongest gravitational pull. Whether positive or negative, like attracts like. Whoever has the strongest demand of the universe, success will follow suit, whether in the right or wrong way. Even with the slightest doubt, the movement will be altered. We may be thinking that we are all positive but deep down, we could be all negative. When that happens, it is not as easy to reverse the effects.

History cannot be changed, but we can learn from it. The existence of the world we know today is the effects from the past. Ancient kingdoms fall to make way for new ones. When new kingdoms are formed, everyone is eager to make change for the better. Everyone have hopes. Everyone have the same thoughts. Thus, the rise of great civilization.

After a while, people will start thinking of new ambitions. Some may want to live a peaceful life, while others miss the opportunities to prove themselves in war. When thoughts of all citizens are not aligned, that is when chaos is reinforced to happen. It may be within the decade, or the century, or even centuries after that. We will never know when the universe will come together into a supernova.

And at the same time, someone from somewhere else have an ambition to bring together a new empire. For the same way the universe works, like-minded people are always attracted to each other. When enough of them are gathered, their thoughts could be stronger than that of the kings and queens. Thus, the rise of a new empire with new law and practices.

As time passes, humans tend to side certain believes and decided to label them as religion. While some people are hardwired about their own religion, there is no wrong religion in the world. We are free to believe in anything we wish to believe in. All religions have noble teachings, we are to be kind to nature and self, and we are to live in peace and harmony with all beings, whether seen or not seen with the naked eyes. There is no difference in the source, the difference comes from the believers.

When religions were first born, they were taught through word of mouth. Generations have passed and teachings have been brought down. Only much later that they are transformed into scripts. Original scripts are written in ancient language, which only a handful of modern people would understand. What we can get from bookstores or the World Wide Web has already been translated. Though we believe that everything has been translated thoroughly, we cannot be sure that the author did not add in his own opinion in the teachings. This is how conflict arise.

Wherever we are, whatever we do, however we become. Believe in the good and the good will follow. Everything is a miracle!

For the truly faithful, no miracle is necessary. For those who doubt, no miracle is sufficient.
