Imagine

Imagine the world a beautiful place.

We are indeed living in the most wonderful place in the universe. Our planet is most abundant in life. We have unlimited supply of air, water, and space. If we come to realize, we only need those to survive. However, we as humans are given the gift of imagination.

We were once dwelling in the forests much like animals do. It is with our gift, we envision a much larger purpose. That is how the first men started communication. We started realizing that certain shapes of things can help us in many ways. Over time, more things are made with the creativity of our minds.

Perhaps the first men would have never imagined that humans can one day fly. It is through observation and relentless efforts of two humans that made flying become a reality. We have since built birds so large that hundreds of humans can travel in them. We have even expanded our mind to explore the space beyond this planet called home.

We have also realized that there are much more to explore within this home of ours. Beneath the oceans is a world of its own. A world that no humans have ever explored before the realization that wood can float on water. Having the imagination of a large vessel to travel far and beyond lands, humans have created whales that can stay afloat or submerge as we wish.

Every creation is made from the great minds. We adore them for being geniuses. We thank them for helping us live easier lives. Our world would never be the same without them. It is with great imagination that made everything we see today possible.

When life becomes easier, humans have more time for further imagination. We imagine the world as one. We work towards having everyone in unity. We created currency. We created differences. We created the model of life which is entirely different from the first men. We created the world we know today.

What do we understand about this world?

The moment we were born, we have been introduced to cultures and beliefs of our parents. They are the first humans we encounter in our lives. They teach us what is right. Has anyone ever questioned before if their parents are limiting their imagination?

I remember having the wildest imaginations. I imagined a clock that never needed winding. I imagined a portable phone with colourful screen. I imagined a television that can be used to play games. There have been many more imaginations as a child to which have all been made a reality now. Though I am not the creator but I am proud that my imagination came true in my lifetime.

Throughout my lifetime doing what everyone does, study then work, I realized that my imagination has been set aside. Time seems to be against me. All of my time has been spent wisely on studies and work. I have to stress on the word wisely because that is what I have been educated for.

Now that I have been working for the longest time I can remember, I come to realize that imagination is scarce. My mind seems to have been limited to the level that I can no longer comprehend. This gives me the creeps. As a human being, imagination is what keeps us alive. Without imagination, our lives will be dull and meaningless. It took me years to realize that my life is turning gray. I have a house but not a home. I have a life but not feeling alive.

I am thankful life is kind to me. Whatever happens always happens for a reason. That is my belief. I happen to love collecting books that I hardly read. I am glad that I have them at hand; books of motivation, books of self-improvement, books of life, and lots more. I now managed to find time to lift my imagination. This is the unlikeliest time but the best moment to invest in myself.

Everything we made in the name of science. Everything we have known is now known differently. Life as we know is no longer the same. Our imagination of an apocalypse is somewhat happening now. There is no doubt about that. Perhaps now is the right time to imagine our better lives, a life that we want.

Everything you can imagine is real.

Life

Life is a big word. Life means being.

Everyone is given a chance to live. What we make out of our lives is entirely our choice. We can choose to be fun and happy in all circumstance.

I have lately come to understand a little deeper about life. Many people around me have become emotional because of the probably once in a lifetime pandemic. I am grateful to be living in this era to witness the change everyone is experiencing. When something big happens, something bigger is being created. We just have to get past our fears to see the light that is waiting for us.

People are starting to appreciate all that nature has to offer. People are starting to enjoy spending time at home with their families. People are moving around less which makes space for all the other living dwellers to roam freely as they should always have been.

Some people see this as a big opportunity to chase their long forgotten dream. I am one. I now have time to write what has been embedded within me for the longest time I can ever remember. I have always enjoyed writing. Though I do not know how well I write or if anyone would ever read my journal but I do enjoy writing a lot. Perhaps this is the time to be me. Perhaps this is the meaning of life, or at least the meaning of my life.

If we ever try to ask anyone the meaning of life, we would probably get many different answers. There is no right or wrong in any sense because we are all born different and we are meant to be different. This is how life works. This is how the universe balances itself.

Just try to imagine, if everyone is the same or wants the same things, what would happen? Every man loves the same woman and every woman loves the same man. Life is more meaningful for everyone to be different. This makes variety and variety makes things interesting.

What do we know about life? Everything we can see, smell, hear, taste, hold, and feel has a life. If we treat them in a nice way, we will be rewarded accordingly. Not that we should expect any rewards in return for the good that we have done but sometimes life is as such. We will be given a helping hand in the unlikeliest manner, especially those moments when we needed that very helping hand the most.

Will we ever know the true meaning of life? I personally am trying to reach out to find the true meaning of life. However hard I searched, somehow there is no hard literature telling me the true meaning of life. The true meaning of life is different with every individual. There is also no conclusion to my search to the meaning of life.

Life itself changes over time. When we were born, we were given the chance to be alive. When we were kids, we were given the chance to learn about life. When we are adults, we are given the chance to live life. When we grow old, we will get to enjoy life before finally meeting our creators. But does life end there?

Some say life ends when the time comes, others believe life begins a new cycle. Does that mean reincarnation? This is another big word perhaps requiring a whole new journal by itself. I would like to believe that we are all an energy mass living in a shell which we call body. Each life experience adds energy to our energy mass. After a certain period of time, our bodies will no longer be suitable to contain our expanded energy mass and therefore, we have to leave and dwell elsewhere. This is what we humans have given the name death.

Where there is life, there is death. This is how the universe works. This is how nature keeps balance. This is something bigger than what we can see. This is not life. This is just how life works. This is what I have in mind about life.

Life is really simple, but men insist on making it complicated.
